Gregory Stevenson is a self-taught fine art
photographer. Originally from Winnipeg, he moved to Ontario, around the
Stratford Area at a very young age.
Greg’s subjects range from Canadian wildlife, landscapes, and portraits, to
dramatic abstractions and is now working with musicians capturing their live performances
and shooting album art.
For the past eight years he has spent his summers in Tobermory, along the
coast of Georgian Bay, where he developed his talent, respect, and love for
nature photography. His passion for the art, carries over into the care for the
subjects he shoots.
"Take only photographs, leave only footprints"
With his camera, Greg is able to capture the dramatic beauty in even the
simplest of things. His compositions are filled with raw emotion, especially
when capturing the beautiful plant and animal species of the rugged Bruce
Peninsula.
Greg's work has grabbed the attention it deserves. His work is currently
being displayed and sold at a store in Stratford and will be shown at two
additional Gallery's this summer.
Greg's attention to detail, his passion for the art, his love for nature and
his kind spirit comes through in each of his pieces. He simply loves his work
making each of his pieces enjoyable.
